Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15th, 1977) is an American writer, director, comedian and podcaster. She is also a vocal advocate for mental health. Her previous position was an editor at BuzzFeed Video. She left the firm in 2015 to start her comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn, a fellow writer. Raskin was born June 20th, 1989 at Manhattan, New York, to a Jewish parents. She was a student at in the University of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a prominent American attorney, law professor, and politician, serving as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district from 2017. Law professor was the chief prosecutor during Trump's second impeachment trial. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided not to seek Maryland's vacant Senate seat, and instead be seeking reelection to the House and hopes to be chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac as well as other wealthy suburbs in areas like the Washington, D.C. area are all part of the district.
